Reconnect with Your True Nature
February (dates TBD) 2026
A women's river retreat integrating whitewater rafting, writing/journaling, Ayurveda, zip-lining, waterfall hiking, yoga and river tubing from our incredible rainforest ecolodge nestled on the banks of the magical Pacuare River.
Join Bridget Crocker, river guide and author, and Jeremy Ann Anderson, Ayurvedic practitioner and adventure guide, on a journey down Costa Rica’s Pacuare River to a remote rainforest ecolodge. We'll deepen our journey by diving into writing/journaling prompts combined with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda (focusing on balancing the five elements in our lives). This unique curriculum facilitates incredible breakthroughs and heightened self-discovery in the reconnection of our inner essence and the natural world.
We’ll enjoy several outdoor adventure activities, all of which tie-in with the writing and Ayurveda curriculum to facilitate shifts in perception and deeper understanding of ourselves. In addition to Class III-IV whitewater rafting on one of the world’s most scenic, pristine rivers, there is an eight-zipline course over the Pacuare River beginning and ending at the Lodge. We’ll enjoy tubing along a gentle stretch of the river in addition to experiencing numerous waterfall pools directly adjacent to the common areas ideal for swimming and frolicking. Naturalist-led creek and garden hikes are scheduled daily. Guided meditation and gentle stretching/yoga on our spectacular yoga deck nestled into the rainforest will further deepen connection to ourselves and nature. Creating a group setting that prioritizes safety, vulnerability, and growth is a vital part of the journey into self-discovery, and we take great care to cultivate a learning environment and select group of travelers that fosters transformation and connection.
Locations: 2 nights in San Jose; 4 nights and 5 days at Rios Lodge, Pacuare River, Turrialba, Costa Rica
